dry manchurian recipe

Cooking Time: 15 mins.
Makes 3 servings


For batter

3/4 cup grated cabbage
1/2 cup grated carrot
1/2 cup grated onion
2 tbsp chopped ginger-green chili-garlic
1/2 tsp soya sauce
1/2 tsp chili sauce
salt to taste
1/4 tsp aji-no-moto
1/4 tsp pepper powder
5 tbsp plain flour
2 tbsp corn flour

Other ingredients

1 tbsp oil
2 tbsp chopped ginger-garlic-green chili
1/2 cup sliced capsicum
2 sliced green chilies
1/4 tsp aji-no-mot
1/4 cup chopped spring onions
1/4 cup chopped cabbage
1 tsp soya sauce
1 tbsp red chili sauce
1/2 tsp pepper powder
salt to taste


1. Mix all the batter ingredients to make very thick batter.
2. Make small balls & deep fry until golden brown.
3. Keep aside in a bowl.
4. In a heated pan, add oil & all the ingredients.
5. Stir fry on a high flame for 2 mins.
6. Add manchurian in it & toss twice.
7. Serve hot.
