EGGPLANT DIP RECIPE

EGGPLANT DIP RECIPE

Ingredients

For eggplant dip

1 tsp oil
2 cloves of garlic
1 green chili
1/2 tsp lemon juice
salt to taste
1/2 cup hung curd
1 tbsp chopped spring onion
1 chopped tomato
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
1/4 tsp red chili powder

Method

For eggplant dip

1. Remove the skin of eggplant & make slices of it.
2. In a heated pan, add oil & eggplant slices.
3. Sprinkle a pinch of salt on it.
4. Cover & cook both the sides until soft & light brown.
5. Transfer in a bowl & let it cool for 5 mins.
6. In a mixer jar, add garlic, chili, eggplant, lemon juice & grind it well.
7. Add hung curd & gring it to make a smooth dip.
8. Transfer it in a bowl & add onion, tomatoes, coriander & chili powder.
9. Mix it properly.
10. In a small bowl mix 1 tsp lemon juice, 1/2 tsp oil, 1/2 tsp red chili powder & mix.
11. Pour this over the dip & sprinkle spring onion & coriander & red chili powder on it.
12. Serve it with pita bread.
