FALAFEL KEBAB RECIPE

Makes 2 servings

Ingredients

1 chopped onion
3-4 cloves chopped garlic
1 chopped green chili
2 cup boiled chickpeas
1/2 cup coriander
1/2 cup mint leaves (phudina)
salt to taste

1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp pepper powder (mari)
2-3 drops capsico sauce
1/2 lemon juice
2-3 tbsp semolina (sooji / ravo)
1 tsp chat masala

Method

1. Blend onions, garlic, chili, chickpeas, coriander & mint to form a thick paste.
2. Don’t make a fine puree.
3. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients.
4. Let it rest for 5 minutes.
5. Take little oil on hand and make small oval shape kebabs and shallow fry till light brown.
6. Sprinkle chat masala on the kebabs before serving. Serve hot with tahini, onion lachcha or hummus.
