Greenie Pineapple Dosa Recipe

Makes 4 servings

Ingredients

For dosa batter
1 cup mung fotra wali dal
1/2 tsp garlic-chili paste
1 tbsp sooji
salt to taste
a pinch of hing
1/2 tsp lime juice

For stuffing
1 tbsp butter
1 chopped green chili
2 tbsp chopped onions
1 cup tinned pineapple
a pinch of salt
1/4 tsp chat masala
2 tbsp cheese cubes

Method

For dosa batter
1. Soak mung dal in water overnight.
2. Grind dal, garlic-chili paste & sooji in a mixer.
3. Transfer the mixture in a bowl & add 1/2 cup water.
4. Mix properly & add salt, hing & lime juice.
5. Let it rest for 5 mins.

For stuffing
1. Heat the butter & saute chilies & onions.
2. Add pineapple, salt, chat masala & mix properly.
3. Saute for 2-3 minutes & transfer in a bowl.
4. Add cheese cubes & mix properly.

How to proceed

1. Grease the butter in a pan.
2. Add 1 laddle full of batter.
3. Spread properly with laddle.
4. Cook properly until bottom layer is crunchy.
5. Put stuffing over the dosa.
6. Sprinkle chat masala & fold.
7. Serve hot with green chutney & cheese spread.
